Jay-Z performed the inaugural concert at the Barclays Center (Friday, Sept 28) in his hometown, Brooklyn, and he did not disappoint.  Now, I wasn’t actually there, but I’ve had the privilege of seeing Jay-Z live before, so believe me when I tell you that the crowd of 18,000 got their money’s worth.

There’s a short little video going around, granted it isn’t the best quality, but it has Jay-Z spitting a few bars we’ve never heard before.  Maybe from an upcoming album?  Or just a throwaway?  Either way, check out the vid and lyrics below.
